Every ingredient in a Nature Lane formula is there for a reason we can explain in a sentence. Here is how we choose, and what we will and will not claim.
Each ingredient has a defined role: hydration, conditioning, texture, or stability.
A formula you enjoy using is a formula you keep using. Texture is part of efficacy.
We favour formulas that stay stable in the jar and fit into a real evening routine.
We describe appearance and feel. We do not promise medical outcomes or permanent change.

Role — conditioning
Used topically, collagen acts as a skin-conditioning agent: it helps skin feel supple and smooth and complements the cream's rich moisturizing profile. It does not rebuild the skin's own collagen, and we will not say that it does.
Role — appearance of texture
One of the most established ingredients in skincare, used to support smoother-looking texture and a renewed appearance. Because it can be sensitising, we pair it with generous moisture and recommend introducing it gradually.
Role — hydration
A humectant that attracts and holds water at the surface of the skin, so skin looks plumper and feels deeply hydrated. It works best sealed in by a richer cream — which is exactly how we use it.
